Some Stats to Make You Think:
Americans throw away approximately 2 million TONS of computers, cell phones, and other electronic gadgets per year...these products now account for 40% of the lead in US Landfills....(source:  The Week Magazine)

Americans alone drank 7 billion gallons of bottled water in 2004
Bottled water costs on average 10,000 times more than tap water (often more expensive than gasoline!)
The fossil fuels needed to transport this water is 1.5 Billion barrels of oil (enough to fuel 100,000 cars for a year)
Almost 90% of the plastic bottles end up in landfills where they can take ~1000 years to biodegrade
Taste tests and chemical analysis reveal there is usually no difference between tap and bottled water...
The question then becomes....why are we doing this?
